WS_FTP - My sites are gone after upgrade

Question/Problem: After upgrading from 6.x to 7.0x, 7.5, 7.6, or 8.0x my sites are gone. Answer/Solution: This may occur if you chose the option "Share sites and firescripts with all users" during the installation. To display your sites again you will need to move the WS_FTP.ini file from the following directory (Note: The "Application Data" folder in Windows 2000 and in XP is a hidden folder. You will need to show all Hidden files/folders in your Windows Explorer settings.) On Windows NT: c:\winnt\profiles\user-name\application data\ipswitch\ws_ftp\sites On Windows2000 and on Windows XP: c:\documents and settings\user-name\application data\Ipswitch\Ws_ftp\Sites to the following directory On Windows NT: c:\winnt\profiles\All Users\application data\ipswitch\ws_ftp\sites On Windows2000 and on Windows XP: c:\documents and settings\All Users\application data\Ipswitch\Ws_ftp\Sites For version 6.x you will need to move WS_FTP.ini from: C:\Program Files\WS_FTP Pro to one of the above locations depending on your Operating System.
