What's New in IMail Server 10.01
Designed as a method to allow silent
installations on multiple computers that share similar configurations for new
IMail Server installations only. See Command Line Installation, or the IMail Admin Help under

Currently these requests can only be responded to (Accept, Decline) with
Outlook. We are still in the process of creating the capability for these
requests to work in the Web Client. This new feature allows a user to send
request e-mails to attend a meeting or event, with capability to automatically
update their calendar depending on their response.

- A link to the old web calendar will still be available
in the Web Client. This link (located in the upper right corner of the Web
Client) will only display as long as the Web Calendar Service is running.
The new Web Calendar uses the WorkgroupShare databases and does not require
services.

computers that do not have their DayLight Savings checkbox set (manual clock
setting), and are in a Time Zone that uses Day Light Savings will have
problems with their appointment conversions, when Day Light Savings turns on
or off.

Calendar for the Web Client requires no services.

to work properly, be sure that your pop-up blocker is turned
off.
A new release of WorkgroupShare version 2.3 from
Softalk, Ltd., will be released with IMail Server Premium v10.01. WorkgroupShare 2.3 Release Notes.
IMail Server has added new
user-interface to support new options for archiving. After successful
installation of your archiving choice, go to IMail Web Administration to enable these
settings

Defect Fixes and Improvements for V10
Installations that have converted their WorkgroupShare and
Personal Contacts from Access to SQL or SQLExpress prior to IMail V10 must be
sure that the following registry key exists and is set as follows before
upgrading:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Softalk\WorkgroupShare\Setup

key setting, if missing, during upgrade will reset WorkgroupShare DB back to
Access.

- Login page will now clear all session variables when it
first loading.
- Fixed issue of Username containing an apostrophe not
being able to reply to messages.
- Fixed issue of Japanese named files not displaying
correctly.
