Problem: I want my users to be able to login to 2006 Web Messaging simply by using a URL.
Solution: You can download a file that can make this possible:
If using 2006: ftp://ftp.ipswitch.com/Ipswitch/Product_Support/IMail/sso_2006.zip
If using 2006.1: ftp://ftp.ipswitch.com/Ipswitch/Product_Support/IMail/sso_2006-1.zip
If using 2006.2 or IMail 10: ftp://ftp.ipswitch.com/Ipswitch/Product_Support/IMail/sso_2006.2_and_IMail_10
In order to access the Web Message system with this file, you will need to define a link in your current environment such as:
You will still need to dynamically populate the name and password for your users -- replacing the 'name' and 'pass' in the above example.
Bear in mind, this is not a feature supported by Ipswitch. However, should you have additional questions, you can ask them on the IMail_Forum mail list.
